With Halloween done, and winter weather creeping in very slowly ( and thankfully ) I find my self in the winter blues, so, I put together a image that started off as just a plain old winter photo.What I turned it in to, pretty much represents winter for me. I’ll leave it at that. Leave your thoughts on it if you wish

Dark Limits.

I’ve recently discovered a “Band” called Owl City. Which is the solo project of a young Christian named Adam Young. Normally I’m not into the Emo/Scene genre of music, but one particular song of his caught my attention, which is rightfully titled “Fireflies.” It is my understanding that the song is about growing up and letting go of childhood, while still embracing our dreams and acting upon a few of them.

Simply put? The song is brilliant and makes me feel like a small child again. Filled with wonder and hope and plain joy. Don’t take my word for it. Listen for yourself.

Ok, so, after hearing that new Black Eyed Peas song, I Gotta Feelin’, and people actually thinking it’s … good … I was shown this video, which sums up [almost] everything I have to say about this sad attempt of a song.

It feels as if the lyrics were written by a 8 year old, either that, or just a lazy band/song writer using the black eyed peas to make a few dollars.

The sad part about the song, is how it’s worked to make a large amount of money. It’s a huge song on ” PoP ” radio, which speaks volumes when actual talented artist’s and musicians release music far more entertaining and actually have more than just a few lines of words and a cheese beat to them, yet those talented individuals just float under the radar for some odd reason.  Wish radio would play music that’s has effort and talent in the music, and not just music that has the highest dollar push behind them. ( if thats even the reason, if somebody know’s why this happens, please inform us )

Billy Talent III by Billy Talent **8.5/10**

Fino + Bleed by Die Mannequin **7.5/10**

Life Starts Now by Three Days Grace **9.1/10**

Liebe Ist Fur Alle Da by Rammstein **8.4/10**

This Way by Hana Pestle **7.3/10**

These are albums that I find myself listening to more often than not when I have music on. Anything over a 7 rating in my books, is a good album start to finish. anything over 9 would be a Great album start to finish. 10? Well, thats just a classic.
